Despite the lack of activity on here, we’re still training once a week, Thursday 7-9pm at the Scout Hall.

Sessions are informal and fun, beginners and new-comers always welcome.

New Year, new ideas

We are changing the sessions a little bit from now on to see how it works out. Mondays will now be an open trianing session, same time, same place, just not exclusively Capoeira.

Thursdays are moving to the later time of 7-9pm, just Capoeira with a rotating session leader.

Everyone welcome as always to either and both sessions. Still just £2 a go.

Training in the festive period

There won’t be a session this Monday coming (13th December), but we’ll make up for it with an extra special session, the last of the term on Thursday 16th.

Make the best new year’s resolution ever – vow to come and have capoeira fun every week – get fit, flexible, make some noise, dance about…see you in January (training starts back Thursday 7th).

That’s right, so its Monday 6pm – 7:30pm, and Thursdays 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Summer training

In case anyone wondered – we are training all through the summer. Mondays is half an hour later, 6.30 -8pm until school holidays end.

Emails are proving difficult to send out so we’ll try and keep this blogroll up-to-date.

We’ve decided to have Easter Monday off seeing as most people aren’t about, so no training this Monday, but back at the scout hut Thursday 8th, normal time of 6.30, then as normal, back in the Buarth Monday at 6pm.

Thursday in Scout Hall

Seems we are lucky enough to have the Scout Hut for training on Thursdays.

The Scout Hut is in Plas Crug Avenue (that’s the long thin park thing, that starts near the bus station in town) – half way along next to the oil depot, hidden amongst the trees. Here is a map – it is close but tucked out of the way, so we can make lots of noise

Time is the same – 6:30 to 8:30.

On to pastures new.

Tonight we have arranged to try out somewhere different: Merched y Wawr
(the hall upstairs in this building). It is just up from the Ship and
Castle Pub on the other side of the road, round the corner from the big
building called Yr Albion. Here’s a map

Normal start time (6:30), we will finish at 8.30.
